CHARACTERIZATION ANALYSIS OF CHILDREN LITERATURE IN NATIONAL LITERATURE PERIOD IN TERMS OF THE 100 BASIC WORKS
It is known that it is not enough to know the physical features of human beings in detail in order to recognize human reality. Human’s; emotions, thoughts and verbs must be known for their personality characteristics. For the recognition of personality traits of the person in various situations or events; analysis of emotions, thoughts and actions according to certain criteria and analysis of the analysis should be done. First of all, it has been tried to determine the frame of the character concept in children’s literature and to make a source scan to fill the inside of the frame. The concept of character in children’s literature is categorized under certain headings. It has been determined which character field the people in the works enter. It has been tried to determine whether the works of national literary period within the scope of 100 basic works meet the concept of character in children’s literature. In the light of the studies conducted, it was observed that the character analysis of the literary period books in the scope of 100 basic works proposed to the children in terms of children’s literature were also unsuitable for the target audience. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the characters of national literature books -Altın Işık (Ziya Gökalp), Havaya Uçan At (Peyami Safa), Her O Şarkı (Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu), Tanrı Misafiri (Reşat Nuri Güntekin), Yalnız Efe (Ömer Seyfettin)- in terms of children’s literature in terms of 100 basic works. As a result of the field survey, the necessary headings for the analysis were created. The data obtained from the analysis were interpreted under these headings. From this point of view, the concept of character in children’s literature was examined with the characters in the works and the character analysis of the related works was made.
