Young Learners from Kindergarten “8th April” Explore Dental Health at IBU’s Balkan Dental Clinic

The International Balkan University’s (IBU) Balkan Dental Clinic hosted an engaging and educational visit for pupils from Kindergarten “8th April” in the Municipality of Shuto Orizari, Skopje.

This activity was held in the scope of the Social Responsibility Initiative with the Roma Community led by Teaching Assistant Sumea Ramadani from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Excitement and curiosity filled the air as the children were warmly greeted by the clinic’s team of dental professionals. Through interactive activities, the team introduced the young visitors to the importance of oral health in a way that was both entertaining and informative.

This initiative, part of IBU’s commitment to promoting health and well-being among younger generations, provided the children with essential lessons on maintaining healthy teeth and gums. The dentists conducted gentle dental check-ups and shared simple but effective oral hygiene tips, helping the children understand how to keep their smiles bright and healthy.

A key focus of the visit was teaching the children about the importance of adopting good dental habits from an early age. The team emphasized how these habits can contribute to long-term oral health, empowering the children to take care of their teeth as they grow.

To make the experience even more enjoyable, the children listened to captivating stories about dental health and care. The visit concluded with a delightful surprise for each child, ensuring they left the clinic with happy faces and a newfound understanding of oral hygiene.

This memorable event reflects IBU’s dedication to nurturing and educating the younger generation. By promoting positive health habits early in life, the university aims to support the development of confident, healthy, and thriving individuals.
