In a significant academic visit, Prof. Dr. Biljana Angelova, the esteemed Rector of St. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje, visited International Balkan University (IBU).

Upon her arrival, Rector Angelova was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, the Rector of IBU, along with key members of the IBU leadership team, including Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic, Vice-Rector of IBU, and Mr. Metin Celil, the Secretary General.

The meeting served as an important platform to discuss a variety of topics centered on the advancement and enhancement of higher education in the region. Both rectors exchanged valuable insights on academic programs, research initiatives, and opportunities for further collaboration.

Following the meeting, Rector Sunar graciously hosted a guided tour of the IBU campus for Rector Angelova, showcasing the university’s state-of-the-art facilities. Among the highlights of the tour were the IBU HalkBank Library, which is widely regarded for its impressive collection and serene study environment; the cutting-edge Balkan Laboratories, equipped with the latest technology to support innovative research; the Faculty of Art and Design’s studios, designed to inspire creativity and artistic expression; and the Balkan Dental Clinic, a modern and well-equipped facility dedicated to hands-on training for dental students.
