The International Relations Office presented the mobility opportunities it offers to IBU students for studying or interning abroad. The presentation also explained how gaining international experience can help improve job prospects and learn about different cultures. Afterward, students took a quiz to test what they knew about EU values and institutions and learn more on the topic.
Students can apply for Erasmus+ programs for Studies and Traineeships through Open Calls held three times a year: in October (for Spring mobilities in the same academic year), March (for Summer Traineeships), and April (for Fall semester mobilities in the upcoming academic year).
Students can also participate in self-funded mobilities through bilateral agreements with partner universities. The maximum duration for studying abroad is one academic year.
Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies allows students to study at a partner university in Europe or beyond. They can earn academic credits and experience life and the education system in a different country. Students can go abroad with a funded mobility for one semester, or a full academic year, with the second semester being self-funded. All credits for passed courses, selected by the IBU course coordinator, will be fully recognized when they return to IBU.
Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships offers students the opportunity to do internships at companies, universities, or organizations abroad. If a student hasn’t passed the Internship course at IBU, completing an Erasmus+ traineeship will fulfill this requirement.
