IBU MUN Club Joins FDU Students in Joint MUN Session

The International Balkan University (IBU) Model United Nations (MUN) Club proudly participated in the first-ever MUN session organized jointly with the Fairleigh Dickinson University MUN Club. This landmark event brought together students from both institutions to engage in diplomatic discourse and international policymaking.

The central topic of the session focused on clean water access around the globe, a critical issue affecting millions worldwide. Representing South Korea, IBU MUN Club members Malike Denizcan Dizdar and Esmanur Dogru actively contributed to the discussions, advocating for sustainable solutions and innovative policies to improve global water accessibility.

The collaboration between IBU and FDU MUN Clubs provided an excellent opportunity for students to hone their negotiation, public speaking, and problem-solving skills while fostering a spirit of cooperation between the two universities.

This collaboration was established through the joint course on Comparative Constitutional Law, successfully implemented at IBU by Dr. Leposava Ognjanoska Stavrovska and at FDU by Prof. Dr. Madelyn S. Ferrans. Their dedication extends beyond the classroom and mentioned project, as they actively support and mentor follow-up initiatives, including this joint MUN session.
