The Head of the International Relations Office (IRO) at International Balkan University (IBU), Ms. Arbnora Etemi, delivered a presentation for representatives of Higher Education Institutions in North Macedonia during a training organized by the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility.

The session focused on how to effectively manage the visa process for incoming Erasmus+ students.

The presentation covered several key topics, including the timeline needed to ensure students arrive on time for the start of the semester, the required documentation, and the responsibilities of both universities and students to ensure a smooth application process. Attention was additionally given to common challenges faced during the visa process, as well as strategies to address them.

As a result of the presentation, attendees now have a clearer understanding of the procedures and are better equipped to assist their incoming Erasmus+ students, prevent visa-related complications, and effectively support their students throughout the process.
