On April 17, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at International Balkan University (IBU) hosted a formal meeting marking the signing of the Memorandums of Understanding with the EIT Community Hub North Macedonia and the BAU Accelerator at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM).
The memorandums were officially signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, symbolizing a significant step forward in advancing collaborative efforts in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
In collaboration with Asst. Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska and Assistant Edita Mustafa at the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, provided detailed insights into the potential areas of institutional collaboration.
Particular emphasis was placed on student involvement, joint research efforts, academic knowledge transfer, and the development of cooperative projects that respond to the dynamic and emerging needs of all parties involved.
The meeting was part of the ongoing initiatives undertaken by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences to foster meaningful engagement with industry stakeholders. These efforts are directed toward bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, thereby offering students enriched opportunities for hands-on experience through internships and applied learning environments.
