Field Visit and Clinical Lecture at The State Statistical Office of North Macedonia

Third-year students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at International Balkan University (IBU) embarked on a field visit and attended a clinical lecture at the premises of the State Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia. This session was organized as part of the Research Methods for Social Sciences course, instructed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luljeta Sadiku and Assistant Edita Mustafa.

 

The clinical lecture was delivered by Ema Bogojevska and Teona Radeska from the Department for Statistical and Mathematical Methods. The topics covered included sampling, data collection, and data editing.

 

During the session, students gained practical insights into the complexities of sampling techniques and methods of data collection and editing, supported by concrete examples. The visit enhanced students’ preparedness for collecting primary data through various methods and utilizing secondary data provided by the State Statistical Office for their research projects and academic studies.
