IBU Hosts Student Discussion on "Trump’s Tariff Policy in 2025: Rebuilding American Industry or Reviving Trade Wars?"

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at International Balkan University (IBU) organized a thought-provoking student discussion as part of the Public Finance course. The event focused on the topic “Trump’s Tariff Policy in 2025: Rebuilding American Industry or Reviving Trade Wars?” and provided a platform for students to engage in meaningful debate over the economic consequences of the renewed U.S. tariffs.

During the discussion, students analyzed the potential impacts of tariff policies on American manufacturing, trade deficits, and global economic relations. Various perspectives were explored, including the effects on international markets and the possible long-term outcomes for the U.S. economy. The interactive session encouraged critical thinking and fostered a deeper understanding of global economic policies.

At the conclusion of the event, students who led discussions on selected subtopics were recognized for their contributions and awarded certificates of appreciation. This initiative reflects IBU's commitment to nurturing analytical skills and promoting active student engagement in contemporary economic issues.
