The Rector of International Balkan University (IBU), Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, together with the President of the Board of Management of IBU, Mr. Recep Süleyman Özdil, conducted an official visit to the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye (YÖK). The distinguished IBU representatives were warmly welcomed by the President of YÖK, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar.

The meeting served as a platform for a fruitful exchange of ideas and perspectives on higher education policies, institutional development, and international collaboration. Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar provided a detailed presentation of IBU’s academic mission, current initiatives, and strategic priorities. He outlined the university’s diverse portfolio of study programs, its multicultural learning environment, and its ongoing efforts to promote quality education in the Balkan region.

In addition, Mr. Recep Süleyman Özdil shared IBU’s long-term vision and emphasized the university’s role as a bridge between Türkiye and the Balkans in the field of education, research, and cultural exchange.

All parties expressed their readiness to further consolidate the collaboration between International Balkan University and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye through enhanced academic cooperation and joint initiatives.
