International Balkan University Among Project Partners in AI and Human Communication Panel

International Balkan University (IBU) is proud to be one of the partner institutions in the interdisciplinary project titled “Algorithms and Human Communication: New Communication Paradigms with Artificial Intelligence.” This important initiative is supported by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and hosted by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, through its Faculty of Communication and the Artificial Intelligence and Media Laboratory.

 

The project brings together leading academic institutions including the University of Derby, Tashkent State University of Law, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Ankara Social Sciences University, and ASELSAN, along with International Balkan University (IBU).

 

With the aim of exploring the impact of AI-based algorithms on human communication, the panel will address topics ranging from ethics and law to media and societal transformation. The project also seeks to promote local AI language models in Türkiye and foster policy recommendations, research outcomes, and sustainable academic collaborations.

 

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, Rector of International Balkan University, will deliver an opening speech during the official opening ceremony of the panel.
