Participants of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) at International Balkan University began working on their group projects through a series of interactive and academic activities focused on innovation and sustainability. This component of the program, developed and delivered by the Faculty of Art and Design, introduced students to the creative and technical aspects of sustainable product and packaging design.
The day started with team-building activities led by the Head of the International Relations Office. Students engaged in games and exercises designed to help them get to know each other and prepared participants for the joint work ahead.
Participants then took part in an all-day workshop on packaging design, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vladimir Gjorgjieski from the Faculty of Art and Design. With his background in design and sustainability, Professor Gjorgjieski guided students through key concepts in eco-friendly materials, creative thinking, and visual storytelling. As product design is a core part of the BIP, the workshop provided a strong academic and practical foundation for the next phase of the project.
Following the workshop, teams began applying what they learned by starting work on their own innovative and environmentally friendly packaging designs.
