International Balkan University (IBU) continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility through forward-thinking, campus-wide initiatives. As part of its long-term vision to support cleaner transportation and reduce its carbon footprint, IBU is investing in the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the university campus.
This initiative reflects IBU’s broader green policies, which prioritize eco-friendly infrastructure and support the transition to more sustainable modes of mobility. By integrating such solutions into campus life, the university aims to create a cleaner, smarter, and more energy-efficient environment. The charging stations will be accessible to academic staff, students, and Beeride’s eco-friendly taxi fleet, making it easier and more practical for all members of the campus community to adopt greener modes of transport.
The project is being implemented in partnership with Beeride, a leading electric vehicle taxi company. These chargers will support the daily operations of Beeride’s environmentally friendly fleet, while also providing essential infrastructure for the university’s own sustainability goals.
Through this initiative, IBU not only reinforces its role as a forward-thinking academic institution but also empowers its community to embrace sustainable practices that benefit both people and the planet. It marks another important step in IBU’s ongoing mission to lead by example in building a greener future.
