International Balkan University (IBU) has taken another significant step in its green transformation by officially signing a partnership agreement with Beeride, a leading electric vehicle (EV) taxi company. The agreement introduces exclusive on-campus parking for Beeride’s electric fleet and a 20% discount on Beeride services for all IBU students and academic staff.

This strategic collaboration supports the University’s ongoing efforts to encourage sustainable and zero-emission transportation options, making environmentally friendly mobility more practical and affordable for the campus community.

As part of the agreement, designated parking spaces will be allocated to Beeride vehicles on campus, ensuring efficient access for their EV taxi services. In return, Beeride will provide discounted ride fares, aiming to ease daily commutes and promote the use of clean transport solutions among students and staff.

Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar stated that this partnership represents a meaningful advancement in IBU’s sustainability agenda and reflects the University’s commitment to shaping a greener future. Beeride’s General Manager Mr. Adnan Reka shared his satisfaction with the collaboration, affirming the company’s mission to expand access to eco-friendly transportation and support institutions that share the same vision.

This agreement also includes the installation of EV charging stations on campus, which was announced earlier, further reinforcing the University’s role as a pioneer in green campus initiatives.
