From Rules to Residence Permits: IBU Welcomes New Language School Students

We organized an Information Session for our newly registered Language School students. The session was conducted in Turkish to ensure that our students felt comfortable and well-informed from the beginning of their academic journey.

During the session, we shared all the essential information that students need to start their studies smoothly and confidently.

First, we presented the main university rules, which are important for all students to follow during their time at IBU. The rules were presented by our Vice-Rector for Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ibish.

The rules specific to Language School students were introduced by us, the Language School team, in a more focused and accessible format.

We also explained the residence permit process, which is an important topic for our international students. Mr. Ibrahim Murat, our Deputy Secretary General, delivered a clear and informative presentation about how to apply and what documents are needed.

Next, we introduced the Hello System Module, which is one of the main platforms our students will use during their studies. Mr. Emre Basdag and Mr. Fidan Agushi from the Hello Team explained how the system works, how students can log in, check schedules, access course materials, and communicate with their teachers.

We are always here to support our students — not only academically but also in every step of their university life. We believe that this information session helped our new Language School students feel more confident, better informed, and ready to begin their journey at IBU.
