The Ambassador of Hungary, H.E. Mr. András Klein, accompanied by the Second Secretary of the Embassy, Mr. Gábor Redécsi, paid an official visit to our University.
During the visit, Ambassador Klein was welcomed by our esteemed Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ibish, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi, and the Head of the University Library (Halkbank Library), Ms. Sara Bayram. The meeting focused on the academic achievements, scientific research, and ongoing activities at the university.
As part of the visit, Ambassador Klein toured the Halkbank Library, where Ms. Sara Bayram presented an overview of the library’s initiatives, current projects, and future plans. In a gesture of support for education, Ambassador Klein donated books to the library, which will be available for use by students.
The visit highlighted the strengthening of academic and cultural connections between Hungary and the International Balkan University, and emphasized the importance of international collaboration in higher education.
