IBU and Sparkasse Bank Join Forces to Cultivate Future Leaders in Finance

We are proud to announce that our University has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Sparkasse Bank AD Skopje—one of the foremost financial institutions in North Macedonia.

The Memorandum was formalized through our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of FEAS, and Mrs. Amina Idrizi, Director of the Human Resources Department at Sparkasse Bank AD Skopje, signing on behalf of their respective institutions.

This agreement underscores our mutual dedication to connecting academic knowledge with the dynamic needs of the banking and financial services industry. It places particular emphasis on practical training in areas such as banking operations, financial management, and digital finance innovation.

During the official signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska, and Sparkasse Bank representatives Mrs. Amina Idrizi and Ms. Sara Pavlovikj discussed future avenues for collaboration under this framework.

A key aim of the partnership is to support our students’ professional development through structured internships, guest lectures by Sparkasse experts, and joint research initiatives addressing contemporary challenges in banking, finance, and business innovation.

Moreover, the agreement opens the door to designing specialized curricula that reflect the rapidly changing landscape of the financial sector.

We at IBU are pleased to embark on this meaningful collaboration with Sparkasse Bank AD Skopje, reaffirming our commitment to academic excellence, industry-driven innovation, and preparing our students to thrive in the financial services sector.
