IBU and Mother Teresa University Forge Academic Partnership

We at International Balkan University (IBU) are delighted to announce a significant step forward in inter-university cooperation following a successful official visit from a high-level delegation of Mother Teresa University (MTU) in Skopje. This important engagement establishes a formal framework to bolster our academic relationship and pursue joint initiatives for mutual growth.

The Mother Teresa University delegation was warmly received by our leadership. They were led by Rector, Professor Doctor Bekim Fetaji, and included Vice Rectors Associate Professor Doctor Diturije Ismaili and Associate Professor Doctor Fati Iseni, along with Mr. Alajdin Memedi. Welcoming them on our behalf were Rector, Professor Doctor Lütfi Sunar, and Secretary General, Associate Professor Doctor Seyhan Murtezan Ibrahimi.

The meeting took place in a collegial and collaborative atmosphere, where discussions focused intently on opportunities to deepen cooperation in key strategic areas. We are excited to move forward with plans that specifically target developing comprehensive student and faculty exchange programs, launching joint academic projects and collaborative scientific research to increase our collective impact, and sharing best practices to enhance quality assurance mechanisms and support institutional capacity building.

This cooperation is more than just a formal agreement; it represents our shared vision for academic excellence and leadership within the region. By combining the strengths of International Balkan University and Mother Teresa University, we believe we can offer superior opportunities to our academic communities and contribute more effectively to intellectual and regional development. We look forward to realizing the concrete benefits of this successful visit and the resulting long-term partnership.
