International Balkan University’s Teaching and Learning Center organized a workshop titled “Communication Skills and Effective Conflict Resolution” for the academic staff of the Vocational Medical School.

The interactive session aimed to enhance participants' interpersonal communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills in professional settings. Through practical exercises and reflective discussions, the workshop focused on recognizing communication barriers, managing emotional dynamics, and applying constructive strategies to resolve conflicts within academic environments.

The training was conducted by Hatice Muci Ameti, Mia Kostovska, and Andrea Velinova from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, who shared insights on effective dialogue, active listening, and maintaining a positive institutional culture.

This workshop is part of the TLC’s ongoing commitment to support professional development and foster a collaborative academic community at IBU.
