As part of his visit to Konya, the Rector of the International Balkan University, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, visited the Konya InnoPark Technology Development Zone, where he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ali Kahraman, General Manager of Konya InnoPark.

InnoPark is recognized as a distinctive and production-oriented technopark located within the Konya Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ). With seven partner universities and a private sector–led management structure, it stands out as a model of innovation that bridges academia, research, and industry through technology and entrepreneurship.

During the visit, the InnoPark representatives introduced Prof. Dr. Sunar to the center’s innovative projects and technological outputs, showcasing a range of solutions developed within the park. A guided tour of the facilities allowed the Rector to observe the vibrant innovation environment, including laboratories, incubation areas, and production spaces.

In discussions with Prof. Dr. Ali Kahraman, both sides emphasized the potential for cooperation between International Balkan University and InnoPark in areas such as technology transfer, innovation management, and research-based development. The visit reaffirmed IBU’s commitment to building strong partnerships that foster creativity, technological progress, and academic-industry synergy.
