The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, through BISTLAB – Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory, successfully organized the event “Transforming Financial Transactions, Enriching Lives” in partnership with the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia. The program brought together distinguished professionals who offered in-depth perspectives on the rapid evolution of financial technologies and their impact on efficiency, accessibility, and financial inclusion.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Biljana Misik, CEO of Iute Macedonia; Mr. Teodor Todorovski, General Manager of P2P; and Mr. George Rukov, Managing Partner at Credissimo. Their practice-oriented presentations provided our students with valuable insights into digital financial solutions, peer-to-peer lending systems, and innovative approaches shaping today’s consumer finance landscape.
The event opened with remarks by our Vice Rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe, followed by a welcome address from the Dean of FEAS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, and continued under the moderation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia for their ongoing collaboration, with special thanks to Mrs. Antoneta Manova Stavreska for her continuous support. As part of the program, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to all invited speakers in recognition of their significant contributions to strengthening financial literacy and education among young people.
