We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Youth Volunteerism Studies: Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization program, held in Struga from 28–30 November 2025. The initiative was jointly organized by International Balkan University, in cooperation with the Turkish Youth Club (TGK) and with the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), through our Project and Research Office.
Over the course of three days, we brought together young participants to explore the evolving landscape of volunteerism in the digital age. The program featured interactive and engaging sessions focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, communication, the digital economy, cultural identity, and the role of art in contemporary social engagement.
We had the honor of welcoming distinguished experts who enriched the program with their knowledge and professional insights: Asst. Prof. Dr. Sümeyye Açıkgöz, Sercan Züber, MA Onur Loç, Asst. Prof. Dr. Afan Hasan, Asst. Hatice Muci Ameti, Asst. Muhammed Fatih Kaytan, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferhan Egemen Sunal. Their contributions provided participants with valuable perspectives on the intersection of technology, culture, and volunteerism.
Through this initiative, we aimed to offer a meaningful platform for learning, reflection, and dialogue, supporting young people in gaining a deeper understanding of volunteerism and its expanding role in today’s digital society.
We believe that the program presents an important vision for the future and contributes to the development of youth as active, informed, and empowered individuals in the digital era.
