We are pleased to announce that the kick-off meeting of the Social Entrepreneurship Bridge: I Have an Idea! project, implemented under the Erasmus+ KA210-YOU programme, was successfully held in Istanbul. This important initiative marks the beginning of a collaborative effort aimed at strengthening youth entrepreneurship across partner institutions.
The project is coordinated by ÖNDER İmam Hatipliler Derneği, with the International Balkan University serving as a partner institution. Our university is represented in the project by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sümeyye Açıkgöz, Head of the Project and Research Office, Asst. Prof. Dr. Afan Hasan, and Onur Loç, Assistant to the Rector.
During the meeting, partners reviewed the project timeline, roles and responsibilities, upcoming mobility activities, and strategic frameworks designed to empower young participants with entrepreneurial mindsets and practical skills.
This initiative aims to support youth in transforming their creative ideas into meaningful social entrepreneurship projects through structured training, mentorship, and collaborative learning opportunities. We look forward to contributing to the successful implementation of the project and to fostering innovation and social impact among young people.
