We proudly announce the establishment of the Knowledge Valorization Center (KVC_IBU), our new strategic hub dedicated to transforming knowledge into tangible economic and societal impact across the Western Balkans. Through this initiative, we are strengthening our role as a proactive university that not only generates knowledge, but also converts research, ideas, and expertise into practical solutions that benefit communities, institutions, and the broader economy.

We established KVC_IBU within the framework of the EIT HEI Initiative project “IMPACT-Campus: Knowledge Valorization Centres for Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation.” Located at our campus in Skopje, the center operates in a modern environment supported by advanced IT infrastructure, simulation laboratories, studios, and contemporary learning facilities. Hosted by our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, KVC_IBU brings together a multidisciplinary team with expertise spanning product development, process optimization, digital technologies, artificial intelligence literacy, entrepreneurship, innovation management, and sustainable development, enabling us to address complex innovation challenges through integrated, practice-oriented approaches.

Through KVC_IBU, we focus on building human capital through training and professional development, strengthening knowledge transfer by supporting the application of scientific and research outputs in the economy and business sector, and fostering innovation capacity through collaboration among higher education institutions, industry, public authorities, and civil society, with a clear emphasis on sustainable entrepreneurship and digital transformation. We also support the development of start-up and spin-off initiatives by enabling the commercialization of research and innovative solutions. Embedded in a strong institutional and regional ecosystem and operating in close partnership with relevant national and international stakeholders, we will use KVC_IBU as a catalyst that bridges academia with real-world needs and accelerates meaningful, future-oriented development across the Western Balkans.
