We proudly highlight the participation of our faculty members, Dr. Bashkim Ismaili and Dr. Miran Ismaili, in the Dental Implant Symposium 2026 organized by the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, United States. This landmark event marked Harvard’s first international symposium dedicated exclusively to implant dentistry, bringing together leading global experts, clinicians, researchers, and innovators to exchange knowledge on the latest scientific developments and technological advancements shaping the future of modern dental medicine.

Representing International Balkan University, Dr. Bashkim Ismaili, Assistant Professor of Periodontology and founder of Polyclinic “Dr. Bashkim Ismaili,” together with Dr. Miran Ismaili, teaching assistant and clinician, attended the symposium as the only representatives from North Macedonia. Throughout the program, we engaged with internationally recognized specialists and pioneers in implantology, digital dentistry, and regenerative oral medicine, while also establishing valuable professional and academic connections with prominent experts including German Gallucci, Dennis Tarnow, Ronald Jung, Alessandro Pozzi, and Marc Nevins. The symposium featured discussions on cutting-edge topics such as digital treatment planning, guided implant surgery, prosthetic rehabilitation, peri-implant disease management, and modern regenerative therapies, highlighting the rapid evolution of implant dentistry worldwide.

Through participation in this prestigious global event, we continue to strengthen the international presence and academic engagement of International Balkan University within the global dental community.
