Today at International Balkan University (IBU), we successfully organized an Information Session dedicated to the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) 2026 Scholarship Call, bringing together our students, young teachers, and researchers to learn more about this prestigious international opportunity. The session was organized by BISTLAB – Balkan Economy and Finance Laboratory in close collaboration with representatives from Club Alpbach Macedonia, reflecting our continued commitment to connecting our academic community with global platforms that support academic growth, international dialogue, and professional development.
During the session, participants had the opportunity to explore the objectives and benefits of the European Forum Alpbach scholarship program, which provides a unique environment for academic exchange, interdisciplinary discussions, and networking with leading scholars, policymakers, and professionals from around the world. The event was moderated by Asst. Prof. Elena Parnardzieva Stanoevska, while the welcome remarks were delivered by Assoc. Prof. Liza Alili Sulejmani, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, who emphasized the importance of encouraging our students and young researchers to actively engage in international academic initiatives and broaden their perspectives through such valuable experiences.
We were also honored to welcome Mr. Marko Paloski from Club Alpbach Macedonia, who shared valuable insights about the scholarship call and highlighted the opportunities available for IBU students and young professionals. We sincerely appreciate his support and recognition of the potential within our academic community. As IBU, we remain committed to continuously creating pathways that empower our students and researchers to engage with international academic networks, strengthen their professional capacities, and contribute to meaningful global dialogue.
