We are thrilled to announce that Assoc. Prof. Emin Idrizi from our Faculty of Education has successfully completed his Fulbright Scholar Program at the University of Alabama, marking a significant academic achievement that reflects our institution’s ongoing commitment to excellence and international engagement. Through this prestigious program, we proudly extended our academic presence to a globally recognized research environment, strengthening our connections with leading institutions and reinforcing our role in advancing innovative educational practices.

 

During his Fulbright tenure, Assoc. Prof. Idrizi conducted impactful research exploring an innovative approach that integrates Corpus Linguistics with Generative AI for academic writing instruction. By utilizing curated collections of texts alongside advanced AI capabilities, this approach aims to develop dynamic instructional materials that enhance and complement academic writing curricula. We recognize this work as a valuable contribution to the field of TESOL, as it introduces forward-thinking methodologies that support more effective, adaptive, and technology-enhanced learning experiences for students.
