We had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Dr. David E. Zammit and Dr. Ibtisam Sadegh from the Law Clinic of the University of Malta to the Legal Clinic of International Balkan University, marking an important step in strengthening our international academic partnerships. During their visit to our campus, we facilitated a productive and forward-looking meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between our institutions and exploring opportunities for joint initiatives in clinical legal education. This visit reflects our continued commitment to fostering global engagement and enriching our academic environment through meaningful international collaboration.

The meeting brought together key representatives of our institution, including our Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ibish, the Dean of the Faculty of Law Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikola Dacev, and the Head of the IBU Legal Clinic Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natalija Shikova. Through an open and insightful exchange, we discussed the structure and ongoing activities of our Legal Clinic, emphasizing its role in providing practical legal education and community-oriented services. We also explored the importance of experiential learning in legal studies, highlighting how clinical programs contribute to the development of professional skills, ethical awareness, and social responsibility among our students.

In addition, we engaged in a valuable exchange of best practices between the University of Malta and IBU Legal Clinics, identifying shared priorities and innovative approaches to legal education. This dialogue not only reinforced our dedication to academic excellence and student-centered learning but also opened new pathways for future collaboration, including potential joint projects, academic exchanges, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. We remain committed to advancing the quality and impact of our legal education through strong international partnerships and continuous institutional development.
