The International Basic Addiction Training project has been officially approved under the Erasmus+ KA153 program, marking a significant milestone in the fight against addiction. This valuable initiative aims to enhance education and raise awareness about addiction by promoting a better understanding of the issue and providing practical solutions.
The project will be implemented over the course of one year, coordinated by İnsani Hayat Derneği and supported by International Balkan University (IBU) as the main partner. Activities will take place across two countries: Türkiye and North Macedonia.
Key components of the project include training programs for students and academics working in addiction-related fields. In February, 50 IBU students will participate in educational sessions and visits to institutions working on addiction. In the second phase of the project, set to take place in May, 20 successful students and academics from the first phase will travel to Türkiye to further their professional development and conduct institutional visits.
The project aligns with the Erasmus+ KA153 program’s mission to foster cross-border cooperation by establishing lasting educational partnerships that address significant societal challenges."
