İnsani Hayat Derneği Visits International Balkan University to Discuss Addiction Training Project

A productive meeting between representatives from İnsani Hayat Derneği and International Balkan University’s (IBU) Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, has launched the first steps of the International Basic Addiction Training project, part of the Erasmus+ program. This visit, held as part of the project's initial activities, focused on outlining the details of the upcoming fieldwork and educational efforts.

 

The International Basic Addiction Training project, designed to raise awareness and promote education on addiction, is a collaborative effort between İnsani Hayat Derneği and IBU, among other partners. The project will include training programs for students, as well as visits to institutions that focus on addiction treatment and prevention.

 

The representatives from İnsani Hayat Derneği and IBU discussed the logistics of training sessions, set to take place in February, which will involve 50 IBU students. Further plans for May include a visit to Türkiye for 20 students and academics to deepen their understanding of addiction-related work.

 

This meeting marks the beginning of an exciting and impactful year-long project aimed at addressing addiction through education and collaborative international efforts.
