In a significant step toward strengthening academic ties, Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, Rector of International Balkan University (IBU), paid a visit to Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in Türkiye. Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, Rector of ALKU, warmly welcomed the IBU delegation.

During the visit, the two rectors engaged in fruitful discussions on education and collaborative academic activities. Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar was accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe, a faculty member from IBU’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Coordinator of the IBU Lifelong Learning Center.

The visit included a comprehensive tour of the university premises, with special attention to the Faculty of Medicine and the Gastronomy Department, showcasing ALKU’s academic infrastructure and facilities.

This visit follows a bilateral memorandum of understanding signed between the two institutions in November 2024. The agreement, signed by Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar on behalf of IBU and Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan for ALKU, aims to foster collaboration in education, research, and academic exchanges.
