IBU Hosts Multiplier Event for Erasmus+ TSAAI Project

On February 5, 2025, the International Balkan University hosted a distinguished multiplier event as part of the Erasmus+ project Transversal Skills in Applied Artificial Intelligence (TSAAI). This initiative, within the KA220-HED Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education program, brought together key representatives from the business sector, academia, and research to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.

 

Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Snezana Bilic, speaking on behalf of Prof. Dr. Lutfi Sunar, Rector of IBU, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Delco Leshkovski, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, delivered an inspiring opening address emphasizing the critical role of AI-driven education in shaping future professionals.

 

Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Porjazoska Kujundziski, the national coordinator of the TSAAI project, provided an in-depth overview of the initiative's objectives and achievements. She highlighted the development of FuturIA, an innovative teaching platform designed to align AI education with evolving industry demands. By integrating cutting-edge curricula, FuturIA aims to equip learners with the transversal skills essential for thriving in an AI-driven workforce.

 

The event fostered an engaging dialogue, where participants contributed valuable insights that will guide the ongoing refinement and enhancement of the FuturIA platform. This collaborative effort ensures the curriculum remains dynamic, continuously incorporating the latest advancements in AI techniques and emerging technologies, thereby strengthening the bridge between academia and industry.
