In collaboration with the English Language Teachers’ Association of the Republic of North Macedonia (ELTAM), the International Balkan University (IBU) hosted two insightful and enriching workshops during the February session of the ELTAM Professional Development Days. The sessions were led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marijana Klemenchich and Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska from the English Language Teaching Department, Faculty of Education.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marijana Klemenchich conducted a workshop titled "Enhancing the Speaking Skill for English Language Learners", which provided valuable strategies and engaging techniques to elevate students' speaking proficiency.
Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr. Marija Stevkovska’s workshop, "Implementing AI-Generated Content into ELF Classes", explored innovative ways to integrate cutting-edge AI tools into ELF classrooms, offering a dynamic approach to modern language teaching.
The workshops attracted a diverse group of passionate educators, including primary and secondary school English language teachers, as well as private school instructors from across North Macedonia. Participants found the sessions both highly beneficial and practical, equipping them with innovative tools and techniques to enrich their teaching practices.
