International Basic Addiction Training Project Approved under Erasmus+ KA153 Program

The International Basic Addiction Training project was officially approved under the Erasmus+ KA153 program, marking a significant milestone in the fight against addiction. This initiative aimed to enhance education and raise awareness by promoting a deeper understanding of addiction and providing practical solutions.

The project was designed to be implemented over one year, coordinated by the Humanitarian Life Association with IBU as the main partner. Activities took place in two countries: Türkiye and North Macedonia.

As part of the project, training programs were organized for students and academics specializing in addiction-related fields. In February, 50 IBU students participated in educational sessions and visits to institutions addressing addiction. In May, during the second phase, 20 successful students and academics from the first phase will travel to Türkiye to further their professional development and conduct institutional visits.

The project aligned with the Erasmus+ KA153 program’s mission to foster cross-border cooperation by establishing long-term educational partnerships aimed at addressing significant societal challenges.
