The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at International Balkan University (IBU) once again showcased its commitment to academic excellence by organizing a thought-provoking debate as part of the Public Finance course, addressing the important question: Is the Progressive Tax Rate Fair?

Students Advan Zendeli, Erjon Rama, Damir Ismailovski, and Ibadet Sulejmani engaged in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating exchange of arguments, presenting well-researched perspectives on both the progressive and flat tax systems. The debate ignited a lively discussion with the audience, further enriching the discourse on tax fairness, inequality, and economic growth.

Throughout the competition, both teams demonstrated remarkable analytical skills and persuasive argumentation. In the end, the winning team secured victory by just one point, a testament to the high level of debate, critical thinking, and academic rigor fostered at IBU.
