Former Croatian President Ivo Josipović Delivers Guest Lecture at IBU on 'Music and Politics'

The International Balkan University (IBU) organized a special guest lecture featuring Prof. Ivo Josipović, former President of Croatia (2010-2015). The event was organized in partnership with the ICAC.

During the lecture, Prof. Josipović explored the connections between musical expression and political life. Drawing from his unique experience as both a statesman and composer, he discussed how art shapes national identity, influences society, and serves as a force for peace and change.

The event provided valuable insights into how music has influenced political landscapes and how political environments shape musical expression. Prof. Josipović's dual background as a political leader and artist offered a distinctive perspective on these interconnected fields.

This lecture marked another significant academic event at IBU, continuing the university's tradition of hosting distinguished speakers and fostering intellectual discussion. The partnership with ICAC further strengthened the university's commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for its students and academic community.
