The International Relations Office (IRO) participated in the Erasmus+ Multiplier Event organized by the EIDE Consortium. This two-day event centered around the Erasmus+ project “Innovation-oriented Education in the Era of the ‘Twin Transition’: Focus on Southeast Europe”, which brought together academic institutions from across Europe.
Key speakers from project partners, including the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities (Skopje), University of Sofia (Bulgaria), Pantheon University (Greece), and Faculty of Media and Communication (Serbia), explored the impact of the digital and green transitions on education and society, with a particular focus on Southeast Europe.
The event featured presentations and discussions on key topics, including Europe’s digital and green transitions, brain drain, and new educational models.
These transitions are reshaping both higher education and society, with participants exploring how innovative curricula and teaching approaches can drive scientific progress and enhance Europe’s global competitiveness. The event also examined the impact of digital technologies on contemporary arts, creative industries, and democracy.
Discussions from the event will help guide future initiatives in the region.
