IBU Psychology Students Visit Mental Health Center "Prolet" in Skopje

Second-year Psychology students from International Balkan University, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Gordana Stankovska and Teaching Assistant Sumea Ramadani, visited the Mental Health Center "Prolet" in Skopje. The visit provided students with an invaluable opportunity to deepen their understanding of mental health care in a real-world setting.

During their time at the center, students engaged in meaningful conversations with patients, gaining insight into their personal experiences and daily challenges. They also observed a brief psychotherapy session, which allowed them to witness therapeutic techniques and patient interactions firsthand. Listening to patients' personal stories offered the students a unique perspective on the impact of mental health support and the importance of compassionate care in the healing process.

The visit served as an educational experience that bridged theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, enriching the students' academic journey in the field of psychology.
