The International Balkan University (IBU) had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the United Nations Association of North Macedonia (MUNA) for an informative and engaging session on the upcoming Skopje International Model United Nations (SIMUN), scheduled to take place at IBU from 2–4 June 2025.
Georgina Kominovska, Secretary General of MUNA, and Ivana Kopčarovska, Program Coordinator, led the info session, offering students valuable insights into the structure, purpose, and opportunities presented by SIMUN. Organized by the IBU MUN Student Club, the session attracted many students eager to participate in international diplomacy simulations and broaden their global awareness.
IBU MUN Club President Malike Denizcan Dizdar opened the session and coordinated IBU students to ensure their active participation. Asst. Dr. Leposava Ognjanoska Stavrovska actively guided the IBU MUN Club in preparing for meaningful engagement in global youth diplomacy and contributing to such initiatives.
IBU remains committed to fostering international collaboration, student leadership, and academic excellence, and looks forward to hosting SIMUN 2025 on campus.
