International Balkan University had the pleasure of welcoming the representatives of the SMART LEARN Erasmus+ project to its campus.
The delegation was greeted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Ibish, Vice-Rector of IBU, and Dr. Sümeyye Açıkgöz, Head of the Project and Research Office, who presented the University’s mission, vision, and international collaboration initiatives. Among the participants was Ms. Mihrimah Belma Sekmen, President of TOGEMDER, the coordinating organization of the project.
The meeting, held at BIT Loft, was followed by a campus tour showcasing IBU’s modern academic facilities and innovative learning environment. During the visit, the parties exchanged insights on the role of international partnerships in advancing digital learning and cross-border educational cooperation.
The SMART LEARN project, coordinated by TOGEMDER (Türkiye) with partners from Croatia, Spain, and North Macedonia, aims to enhance learning experiences for primary school students through interactive and technology-based educational tools.
