CODE 1 - Lecturer for all academic-teaching-scientific titles in the scientific field: (3) Medical and Health Sciences; field: (3.05) Other Medical Sciences, subfield: (3.05.01) Dentistry, area: (3.05.01.03) Orthodontics – 1 (one) candidate

I. Requirements for Candidates

In addition to the general requirements specified in Articles 164, 165, 166, 167, 168, 169, and 170 of the Law on Higher Education (Official Gazette of the RMV No. 82/2018, 154/2019, 178/2021, and 58/24), candidates must also meet the following conditions:

• Excellent knowledge of the English language, verified by a diploma from the relevant institution (the employer has the right to conduct testing and/or an interview);

• Fulfillment of specific requirements set by the Regulation on the criteria and procedure for selecting teaching-scientific, teaching-professional, teaching, and associate positions at the Balkan International University;

• Previous experience in an academic environment will be considered an advantage;

• Knowledge of local languages (Albanian and/or Turkish) will be considered a plus.

II. Documents to Be Submitted

Candidates for teaching-scientific and associate positions must submit the following documents:

• Motivational letter;

• Complete academic biography (CV);

• Diploma for completed third-cycle studies (original or notarized copy) (only for teaching-scientific titles);

• Diploma for completed second-cycle studies (original or notarized copy);

• Diploma for completed first-cycle studies (original or notarized copy);

• Foreign diplomas must be notarized and supplemented with grade equivalency (original or notarized copy);

• A list of published scientific and professional works (with electronic copies in PDF format);

• Certificate of citizenship.

III. Submission Procedure

Interested candidates must submit their applications only in electronic form via the following link: https://www.ibu.edu.mk/jobs, selecting the code for which they are applying, no later than 13.03.2026.

Only candidates shortlisted by the employer will be required to submit the documents listed in Section II in printed copies.

All candidates must specify the code of the position they are applying for.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
