THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE, DR. ARBER ADEMI VISITED IBU AND ATTENDED THE MEETING OF THE MACEDONIAN-TURKISH CHAMBER OF COMMERNCE (MATTO)

International Balkan University hosted the meeting of the Executive Board of Macedonian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce (MATTO) on Wednesday, 20th March 2019. The honourable guest of this meeting was the Minister for Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dr. Arber Ademi. Minister Ademi presented the policies and vision of the Government for modern and qualitative educational system. He addressed the implemented reforms in all segments of education and introduced the upcoming projects of the Ministry which aim to improve the overall educational system in the country. In this regard, he underlined the importance of cooperation with the Republic of Turkey and partners like the International Balkan University, International Maarif Schools in Macedonia, etc.

The President of MATTO and the Management Board of IBU, Mr. Ajdovan Ademoski expressed the readiness of the Chamber and the University to contribute in all projects of the Government in the field of education and science, especially in funding vulnerable categories of students with scholarships and internship/job opportunities.

Rector of IBU, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dursun Erdem delivered a short presentation of the University and shared the projects and plans for the further development and growth of IBU. He informed the Minister about the decision of IBU to award full scholarships to the top 3 students of every high school in North Macedonia for the academic year 2019/2020, which was sincerely congratulated and supported by Minister Ademi.
