GUEST LECTURES AT THE FACULTY OF LAW PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH PRACTICAL SKILLS

Within the clinical teaching activities at IBU Faculty of Law, the guest lecturer Mr. Ljupco Stojkovski conducted a lecture in the course Philosophy of Law. The topic was the Theory of Justice (justice as fairness), developed by John Rawls, one of the most important contemporary moral and political philosophers of the 20th century. It was an interactive and very interesting lecture in which the students showed great interest. The lecturer explained to the students the principles of justice, fairness, equality etc., in a very simplified and practical manner using many practical examples related to the theory of justice. He also explained the benefits of this theory, as well as the critics by the scholars and philosophers that have opposite opinion. The students were asking questions regarding the lecture, including the personal opinion of the guest lecturer about this theory.
  
“Blockchain Technology, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and Cryptocurrencies – theoretical and practical aspects”, Guest Lecture by Mr. Ivan Sulev, General Manager at ILS Solutions
 On 12.03.2018, upon an invitation of Ass. Prof. Dr. Ljubisha Stefanoski, Mr. Ivan Sulev, an expert in the area of Innovative and Advanced Technology addressed to the students who follow the Law and Information Technology course and delivered a lecture on the topic: Blockchain Technology, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and Cryptocurrencies.
Тhe students had the opportunity to learn more about technical aspects of the functionality of Blockchain Technology, the theoretical aspects of the ICOs and their relationship with Cryptocurrencies.
Also, Mr. Sulev emphasized details about the development, challenges and perspectives of the Blockchain Technology in the near future and its benefits.
