Talent Night 2017 organized by International Balkan University was held on the evening of 11th May 2017 in the Macedonian National Theatre in Skopje. In a dreamy atmosphere and real artistic show performances in singing, poetry, drama, folklore, modern dances, instrumental plays and much more, students of IBU presented their talents in front of a great audience which included representatives of the public life in Macedonia, academic staff, students and their families. Honorary guests of the event were the Chief Counselor of the President of Turkey and former Minister of Culture and Tourism in the Government of Turkey, Mr. Yalçın Topçu, the Ambassador of Turkey to Skopje, H.E. Tülin Erkal Kara, Member of Parliament in Turkey, Mr. Metin Gündoğdu, Member of the Constıitutional Court of Macedonia, Mr. Sali Murati, State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Behixhudin Shehapi, Coordinator of TİKA Skopje, Mr. Aytekin Ayden, Director of Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center, Mr. Fuat Korkmaz, President of MATÜSİTEB, Mr. Hüsrev Emin, etc.
The event was supported by the Macedonian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce (MATTO), whose member-companies sponsored the event with various awards for the performers. According to the points given by the sponsors, the best performers of the night came out to be the Bosnian Folklore students.
We congratulate all students who were part of the IBU Talent Night 2017, they once again proved with deeds that IBU is the best promoter of multiculturalism in the Balkan region!
