International Balkan University proudly participated in the Biennale of Students in Architecture (BISTA), held as part of the Biennale of Macedonian Contemporary Architecture. This annual exhibition serves as an important platform to highlight the creative potential of architecture students from universities across Macedonia.
Hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art a landmark of modern design and cultural heritage this year’s event brought together outstanding student projects that reflect innovation, creativity, and a strong academic foundation. Representing International Balkan University, the Department of Architecture, under the Faculty of Engineering, exhibited a selection of remarkable student works from the past academic year, including several meticulously crafted physical models. These projects embody our students’ critical thinking, design innovation, and commitment to advancing architectural ideas.
The participation of International Balkan University was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Marija Miloshevska Janakieska, Head of the Department of Architecture, with the dedicated support of the academic staff who contributed to the preparation and organization of the exhibition.
