We are pleased to announce that the kick-off meeting of the Strengthening Organizational Capacity in NGOs: Strategic Management, Volunteer Management, Enhanced Communication, and Digital Tools project, implemented under the Erasmus+ KA153-YOU programme, was successfully held. The meeting marked the official start of a collaborative initiative dedicated to improving the operational capacities of youth-oriented non-governmental organizations.

The project is coordinated by İLEM – İlmi Etüdler Derneği, with the International Balkan University participating as a partner institution. Our university was represented through the Project and Research Office by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sümeyye Açıkgöz, Head of the PRO, and Onur Loç, Assistant to the Rector.

During the meeting, partners engaged in detailed planning of the project activities, focusing on strengthening NGOs through strategic management, effective volunteer coordination, enhanced communication methodologies, and the integration of modern digital tools.

This initiative aims to equip young people and youth workers with essential skills and competencies to build more impactful, sustainable, and innovative youth work practices. We look forward to contributing to the successful implementation of the project and to supporting the development of dynamic and resilient NGO structures.
