We are proud to announce the launch of a strategic Internal Training Program, a collaborative initiative between International Balkan University and Halkbank AD Skopje that reflects our shared commitment to professional excellence and sustainable institutional development. The program commenced with an opening address by our Vice-Rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Lökçe, who emphasized the long-term significance of this partnership and underlined that the training series, delivered by the International Balkan University Lifelong Learning Center, will continue periodically throughout 2026. Through this initiative, we reaffirm our dedication to lifelong learning, knowledge transfer, and strengthening meaningful university-industry cooperation that creates lasting value for both institutions.

The program was officially inaugurated by the Chief Executive Officer of Halkbank AD Skopje, Dr. Fatih Shahbaz, who delivered a distinguished lecture titled “Institutional Culture and Values.” In his comprehensive address, Dr. Shahbaz shared profound insights on corporate vision and highlighted the pivotal role of shared values in driving organizational success and fostering a cohesive professional environment. By hosting such a distinguished session, we once again demonstrated our capacity to create platforms where academic expertise and high-level professional leadership intersect for mutual growth and impact.

The day-long training continued with valuable academic contributions from the Dean of our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, and Prof. Dr. Savica Dimitrieska, whose expertise further enriched the program’s content. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to excellence, uniting advanced academic knowledge with practical banking dynamics to enhance the high-quality services provided by Halkbank AD Skopje personnel across North Macedonia. Through this strategic partnership, we continue to expand our role as a leading institution in professional development, innovation, and institutional capacity building, strengthening our contribution to the broader economic and social ecosystem.
