We successfully organized the second training session on “Reading Financial Statements and Fundamentals of Credit Analysis” as part of our joint Internal Training Program with Halkbank AD Skopje, further strengthening our collaboration between academia and the financial sector. Delivered by our Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liza Alili Sulejmani, this initiative reflects our strong commitment to sharing academic expertise with industry professionals and contributing to the continuous development of the banking sector. Through such engagements, we reaffirm our role as a dynamic institution that bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
The training brought together bank employees from across the country in a hybrid format, creating a highly interactive and engaging learning environment. During the session, we focused on essential components of financial analysis, including balance sheet interpretation, income statement evaluation, and cash flow analysis, alongside key financial ratios and the principles of 5C credit analysis. By addressing these critical areas, we ensured that participants gained a comprehensive understanding of financial evaluation processes and their direct relevance to credit decision-making within modern banking practices.
Throughout the program, participants actively engaged in practical exercises and case studies designed to simulate real-life credit analysis scenarios, enabling them to apply their knowledge in a meaningful and impactful way. We emphasized the importance of accurate financial interpretation as a foundation for effective risk assessment and responsible lending, highlighting the value of informed decision-making in the financial industry. Through this ongoing collaboration, we continue to promote professional development, foster knowledge exchange, and reinforce our dedication to advancing quality education, innovation, and industry-relevant learning experiences for both our academic and professional communities.
