We proudly launched the first session of our Library Meetings series, organized under our Student Wellbeing Center in collaboration with the Turkish Club, at the HalkBank Library on our campus. This meaningful initiative marked the beginning of a new platform dedicated to fostering intellectual dialogue, student engagement, and a stronger sense of community within our university. By bringing together students and academic leadership in an interactive and welcoming environment, we once again demonstrated our commitment to enriching the student experience through innovative and inclusive activities.
We were honored to welcome our Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, who actively engaged with our students throughout the session by sharing his valuable experiences and insights. The event created a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere, where open dialogue and thoughtful exchange of ideas were encouraged, reflecting our institutional values of accessibility, mentorship, and academic excellence. The session was skillfully moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekrem Destanov, whose guidance ensured a well-structured and engaging discussion that strengthened the connection between our students and university leadership.
At the conclusion of the program, we added a cultural and artistic dimension to the event through a tanbur performance by our student Betim Latifi, which was highly appreciated by all participants and contributed to the warm and vibrant atmosphere of the gathering. We extend our sincere gratitude to all students who participated and contributed to the success of this inaugural session. As we continue the Library Meetings series with diverse guests and enriching discussions, we remain dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities that support student development, promote dialogue, and strengthen our academic community.
