We recently organized an engaging and intellectually stimulating session at our Legal Clinic, where we brought together our law students for an in-depth analysis of the widely known O.J. Simpson murder case. Through this activity, we further strengthened our commitment to experiential learning by creating a dynamic academic environment that connects theoretical knowledge with real-world legal practice. By examining such a landmark case, we provided our students with a valuable opportunity to explore complex legal concepts and develop their analytical thinking within a practical context.

The session was successfully led by our senior law students, Fatmagul Koksal and Sevim Can Meray, under the dedicated mentorship of assistant Omer Ulutas, reflecting our strong emphasis on peer learning and academic collaboration. During the discussion, participants carefully evaluated key elements of the case, including the well-known “glove test,” and examined its legal implications in relation to evidence assessment and courtroom procedures. This structured and interactive approach encouraged students to engage critically, exchange perspectives, and deepen their understanding of legal reasoning in high-profile cases.

We were particularly pleased to observe the high level of interest and active participation demonstrated by our students throughout the session, highlighting the effectiveness of our student-centered learning model. Such initiatives reinforce our mission to provide quality legal education, foster critical thinking, and prepare our students for the demands of the professional world. We will continue to organize similar activities that support practical learning, strengthen academic excellence, and contribute to the development of confident and capable future legal professionals.
